I design original SVG cutting files for use on home digital cutting machines like Scan N Cut and Cricut, specialising in dimensional paper projects that transform sheets of cardstock into detailed 3D designs.
I often sell my designs in curated USB collections for Hobbymaker, taking each collection from initial concepts through file construction (modelling in 3D software, Adobe Illustrator editing and designing), and creating final samples and instructions. Drawing on my background in model making and illustration, I particularly enjoy creating projects where the construction itself is an important part of the design.
I appear on Hobbymaker TV to present my products live on air. I plan each demonstration in advance, preparing projects at different stages so that techniques and construction methods can be communicated clearly within the timings of a live broadcast.
During the show I work collaboratively with the presenter, demonstrating projects, answering questions and adapting the demonstration as the programme develops. It combines detailed preparation with the ability to communicate confidently, clearly and naturally in a live television environment.
