I was awarded second place in a T-shirt design competition created alongside Ghosts of Gone Birds, a major exhibition using art to raise awareness of extinct and endangered bird species.
My hand-drawn illustration was selected by a judging panel including Guy Garvey of Elbow, Jimi Goodwin of Doves and BBC 6 Music DJ Marc Riley, and was subsequently produced as a T-shirt and sold through ASOS.
Created by filmmaker Ceri Levy, Ghosts of Gone Birds brought together work from more than 80 artists, musicians and writers, including Sir Peter Blake, Ralph Steadman, Jamie Hewlett and Margaret Atwood, in support of bird conservation.
