I worked as a model maker for Brighton-based games studio Fat Pebble, creating handmade characters, props and in-game assets for a range of projects.
Working across a variety of materials and techniques including sewing, knitting, wood carving. I constructed and finished miniature models including characters, environments and detailed props, adapting my approach to suit the visual style and practical requirements of each project.
My work also extended into stop-motion, animating physical models and assets for use within the games. The role combined model making, prop construction, painting and animation, turning digital concepts and designs into tactile, characterful objects that could become part of the finished game.
