I worked as part of the model-making team at Second Home Studios on My Motorbike, a stop-motion animation created for CITV's Share A Story.
During a two-week placement with the studio, I created a number of miniature props and models, several of which were used in the finished animation. It was a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional stop-motion production and see my models brought to life on screen.
My Motorbike went on to win a Royal Television Society Award for Best Production Craft Skills in 2015, and formed part of the Share A Story series which won the 2014 BAFTA Children's Award for Best Short Form. I was credited as a modeller on the production.
